Steps to register your player using the new GotSport system
1. Visit our GotSport Player registration page at:

2. Create a GotSport User Account.
After you have entered your email address and password at the bottom under GotSport Account, click Sign Up. Reminder: This username (email address) and password will be the single account for all players in your family. Please use an email address that you check regularly as the club will communicate with you using this email address.
3. Register as parent first.
First you must create a GotSport account for yourself as the parent/guardian. When it asks, “Who are you registering for?” we recommend selecting “I’m registering myself” and NOT the first option mentioning “your child or someone else.” Both options will eventually lead to the same place, but we recommend registering yourself first as it’s easier to follow. (If you chose the first option, Registrant is the player, and “Your Information” is about you the parent/guardian).
4. Add a Player
Now you have created a GotSport account, you can add in your player(s). Under "Add Family Member," select the green "Register dropdown and select Player.
5. Complete your Player Profile
A player photo is required, so please be prepared to upload a headshot that shows the player's face, much like a driver's license photo. For Player contact email, we recommend using the same email address you registered with, and make sure the time zone is set to Eastern Time. Boxes that are required to be fill out will show an error message when you click "continue."
6. Add in other parents/Guardians for your player
You may add up to 4 parent/guardian contacts for the player. Once added, click the green "continue" button.
7. Emergency Information
Add in all the required medical background information. You must fill in N/A if no medical information is relevant to continue. Physician information is not required.
8. Playing Group
Select the age group and appropriate bracket for your child. The Chargers offer the following teams, U8 COED, U10 COED, U12, U14, U16 and U19. Ages 12 - 19 have separate boys and girls teams. We are currently in the 2023-2024 season, so you calculate the team by subtracting 2024- the player's age. 2024-2012= U12.
The prompt will show U9, U11, U13 and so on. If your child will be an odd number in 2024, select the next age bracket. For example, if your child will be 9 in 2024, select the U10 team.
9. Fill out additional questions
It will be easiest if you upload the birth certificate document at this time. It is not required to complete registration; however, it will be required by March 1, 2024. A photo of the birth certificate taken from a cell phone and uploaded is sufficient.
If you are requesting financial assistance, click yes and complete the additional questions as they drop down. If requesting financial assistance, choose the "financial assistance" payment plan at checkout. At this time, a refundable $25.00 is required.
10. Sign and complete registration Forms
The Chenango Soccer Club Waiver, Medical Release Form, and the Zero Tolerance Policy. These forms are required to continue through the registration process. Click the green "Continue" button.
11. Choose a Payment Plan and Enter Payment Information.
Review the different payment offers and terms and press the green "Select" button on the option you prefer. Enter your payment information and press the green "Submit" button.
12. Your Registration is Complete!
You should receive confirmation emails from GotSport, including a confirmation of your payment. If you do not receive these emails, you may not have completed the process correctly. Contact the club at [email protected] with any questions.
